I just started with the product. Getting over 50 has definitely had an effect on the prostrate. Urinary frequency and hesitancy and dribbling as well as some erection issues. Been checked out and just some benign prostratic hypertrophy. One non-surgical intervention was medication (uh, no thanks) or try prostate massage. I have tried three times and am still working on the relaxation. Does not seem to do anything for erection or even moderately pleasurable at this point but seems like it takes time. Right now I have been laying on my side or back and after relaxing for a good 10 min try doing moderate kegels for another 10 minutes, can definately feel the massage, but nothing approaching sexual stimulation or even orgasm... I noticed an improvement in my urine stream already which seems strange, but will continue to monitor. Trying to do 3 times a week for now, any comment from others who have been successful on is most welcome.UPDATE - Have been using for the past month and this is my conclusion. If you are looking for a quick way to enhance your orgasms, you will probably be disappointed. However, if you are looking for something different (very different) and willing to put some time into it, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. It has been apparent to me that the orgasm achievable from the Aneros is different then the normal orgasm you probably enjoy today so it is unfamiliar. It was something that I personally had to work at, but it definitely taught me a lot about my body and the way I experience sexual satisfaction. That has been wonderful and has impacted me in very different ways. I have achieved some very pleasurable feelings both during and throughout the day, which is really nice and have experienced some definite benefits to urination and sex drive. So my normal routine is to do the prostate massage for 20-30 min (2-3 times week) I usually don't "orgasm" or ejaculate during that, then I can finish up with my normal way with the Aneros in place. Definitely super charges the orgasm, but as far as orgasming from the Aneros, still not there.UPDATE - Still working at it. I think my time for insertion and manipulation is too short. Also I have learned that you have to develop an 'awareness' of when your prostate is wanting or in need. I have moved to the Progasm which is much bigger, we'll see if that helps with the increased time.

Not for the faint of heart

This was the first Aneros that I purchased. I now have the SGX, MGX, and Helix. The first time I tried the Helix, it was truly eye opening. The Helix model of the Aneros agressively presses up against the prostate gland. I thought I was in over my head but had never used this type of device before so I gave it a chance to work. Eventualy, I ended up buying the SGX and MGX models in an effort to experience the spectrum of feelings that Aneros had to offer in terms of this kind of prostate stimulator device. I am glad that I did. The Helix is a model that was developed from feedback from previous users of the Aneros. The earlier models (sgx and mgx) in my opinion would be a better place to start out. The mgx represents the middle ground and the sgx is the smallest and shortest model available. They all do the same thing in that the business end of these devices press up against the prostate. It takes practice to get these devices to move once they are inserted. I am only in the beginning of trying these things out but comfortable in recommending them. I am always looking for something new in this area and these devices really fit the bill.

Very sexy product

This is a very fun product, however does not produce an orgasm on its own. I would recommend this to your toy collection.
