I should have checked the measurement but did not since it showed centimeters. Purchased the size Small, but was still too large for me as I was not that blessed in that department. Appears its 1.25 inch inside diameter

Smallllll but streches.

This does fit tight, but I like the extra tightness I get from it. The material seems fine. Doesn't really smell or anything and hasn't broke yet. But the ring is a good thickness too it. So I don't think it will break from stretching it, unless you have a beast man piece that puts a baby arm to shame. If you know you have a well above average thickness, just go with the med. or large than. You might not like the same amount of tightness I do. I'm about average, maybe a little more on the girth scale for reference.
