The Turbo 8 is hands down THE BEST massager out there for the money. An incredibly designed and versatile tool, it offers two bullets with removable textured sleeves and independent speed controls. It runs on 4 AA batteries. By the way, DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLES. It burned my last one out. That said, with standard AA's, the overall battery life is actually pretty good.I strongly prefer the dual bullet design. By having two bullets, you are free to explore a bit, massaging anywhere you chose, trying different areas simultaneously. I never stop discovering different combinations.The removable textured rubber sleeves are made of a super soft rubber, but the texture I find a little rough in some areas. But the designers may have thought of this. On high speed, if I find the power and sleeves combination to be too intense, I have the option to simply remove the sleeves.But what really makes this unit stand out are the independent controls. This thing packs serious power, too much for more sensitive areas. For those areas, you can slow it down and customize each bullet to what feels best for you.I honestly have yet to find a tool that is built as well and offers so much. But it isn't perfect. There are two design flaws in the Turbo 8. Each bullet is actually two pieces screwed together. If you remove the sleeves often, as I do, the gap between the pieces seems to loosen ever so slightly. It is just enough that,without care, will allow moisture, creams or oils to get inside and short the unit out. Secondly, the thin wires from the control unit to the bullets take a lot of abuse and after a while may short at either end. A simple reinforced flexible guard where each cord ends would have solved this problem.If these two design flaws were fixed, I would pay twice as much for the Turbo 8. It really is that impressive. But with just a little care and caution, you won't even have to deal with the design flaws for several years. Alright, this thing - it's awesome. I've got some issues with desentization in various regions that the normal three speeds can't do anything about. So having the option to go over three speeds has helped vastly. It's rare that I go over the fifth level of speed - except as the batteries drain. When the batteries are at about half-charge, yeah I'll maybe go all the way up to the level 8 on the speed, but not for long. It's pretty darn powerful, yet it also has the capability to stay at a lower speed like the typical 3-speeders too.The reason I gave it a four rather than a five star is because of two small things:1 - like any toy it doesn't last very long (I had one that lasted a year before finally dying, and I've had one that died after something like three uses - usually I have to replace it by the third month, or keep a back up just in case - trust me you don't want it dying right in the middle of things, and there's no spare around to help you out)2 - I have to buy it online, as no stores in my city (a major city I may add) carry this particular item which is a hassle. So, I always order two or three at a time. Which is cheaper in the long run as if this was bought in a store it would cost 20$ for one, instead of 11$. It's still annoying to have to wait for it to come in the mail, when it's an item that I use regularly.(So if you buy this, and you like it - always buy a backup!)

OMG! When i read the other reviews, I thought there was no way this would be too powerful for me. I have only gotten up to the 4th setting and it is definitely turbo! It has a large remote control and requires 4AA batteries so it really packs some power. The outer cover is made of gel and is removable. If you are looking for a powerful vibe, this is the one for you! A+
