Insertion end is slightly rounded, not tapered for easy insertion. Measurements: smallest 6 x 1 1/4 and largest 5 3/4 x 1 3/4. Material is soft, pliable, slick when wet. No instructions included. Pleasurable sensation when squeezing, not likely to tone pc muscles with short term use - needs to be tapered on end for ease of use on daily basis. Rod does produce pleasure with or without complete insertion. Would not have ordered ifI knew it was not tapered for easy insertion. Product is worth about half the price shown.

Not to be graphic but after doing kegels regularly for two years I cant get the gauge to move at all! I am by no means a "loose" gal but I was starting to really think something was wrong because of this device. I've used ben wa balls before and had no issues with them slipping out so I took it to Another level.. I used the rod for the "other" end knowing it is extremely tight and still nothing. So I don't think this product is accurate in determining if your kegels are helping. Nothing more than a mildly pleasurable sex toy.
