When it arrived, it came in a discreet brown box, and within that was a plastic box which contained this item. Upon opening it, I noticed a very strong smell of plastic, silicon, and disinfectant - I had to wash it several times under warm water to lessen the smell. As much as I appreciate it being anti-bacteria, the smell is a little of a turn-off, however once you lube it up the smell seems to go away immediately. If you're the type that likes to do a little foreplay with this and put it in your mouth - it tastes like plastic. Very strongly. It tastes about ten times worse than it smells.I mean, you get used to it, but at first the smell and taste might make you gag - I highly recommend washing it with a little soap and warm water for about ten minutes before doing anything so that A) the smell and taste isn't so bad, B) it gets rid of anything that may have gotten stuck onto it (it's slightly sticky since it's made out of latex or silicon or something), and C) having it warmed up a little is so much more comfortable to use. There's nothing so bad as having a cold, lubed up jellie dildo right when you're ready to go to town.It's nice, comfortable, and well made. The only downside is, I'm not entirely sure how to take care of it - I wash it and keep it clean, but for storage I tend to keep it in the packaging it came in since I don't want anything to stick to it.
