This is the first glass plug I've owned after three "jelly" plugs in the past, and I have to say I think all my future purchases will be glass. The craftsmanship of this plug is very good. It's very smooth (like glass should be) and far more slick than jelly or urethane. It has a good weight to it as well -- not too heavy, but it lets you know it's there. The size of the base stopper is just about right, although I wish it wasn't perfectly round because I think that having it be elliptical would help when wearing it for an extended period. The length of the plug between the flare and the base is perfect for extended use. Also, the coloring isn't quite as solid as the picture shows (I purchased the red and amber version.) The coloring is definitely there, but I think they're done by hand so there are variations. Just think of it as having a unique toy! Finally, the plug is a little shorter than I was expecting, but I still love it -- definitely my favorite now!

This was a really great toy but a little bigger than I thought. Not for a beginner in anal. This should probably be a toy to work up to. My girlfriend was actually happy though because she used this till she could use it very comfortably and then she had no problem with me entering backdoor. If you are trying to work up to real anal sex then you should find a plug that is a little smaller. All in all it was a great toy, very smooth, great shape just a little bigger than the picture and description seemed. Read all descriptions carefully.

This little guy -emphasis on little is probably perfect for those who aren't BRAND NEW to anal play, but also aren't super-hardcore into it. I'm not going to say that this is a good idea as 'my first plug', but it's darn close. If you've been playing with insertables for more than a month in your life, this plug is at or below your level. It's a great way to warm up if you haven't played in a while, and it's darn comfortable to keep in for extended periods. My only complaint being that the rear ring of the plug has the potential to dry up and irritate the wearer during long walks, etc... In short, I wouldn't recommend a day at Disneyland with this in. Since 95% of plugs are designed with this shape in mind, I won't call this a design flaw or anything like that, just a fact of life.If you're getting, or are already into anal play, you're going to want to move up from this little one pretty quickly, so much so that I would almost suggest ordering the next size up at the same time. Within about a week I was already wanting the next one in hand.Overall, it's good quality, it's hypoallergenic, and of course the cleaning factors couldn't be better -this is why we're buying glass, right? A good starter plug, I don't necessarily suggest starting larger in glass, because glass feels very different from anything else, there's no 'give' factor to it, and your muscles can't really press down on it the same way. This product is a great purchase for making that adjustment and working your way into a world of higher quality toys. ^_^Oh, and a sidenote - A lot of other manufacturers could really learn something from the thickly padded pouch that comes with this. It's classy, it's padded VERY well, and it's convenient for storage. I wish I could buy more for my larger glass plugs.
